Paradise Lost

Why? Why do we have to come home to the real world? Why can’t we just stay on vacation? Why can’t someone just pay us to lie around on the beach all day every day? I don’t understand!

Well, needless to say, the beach was wonderful! I just needed about 3 more weeks to get really refreshed! đŸ™‚ It was so nice to just sit back all day under an umbrella and do absolutely nothing. Read a little while. Go take a dip in the pool. Nap a little while. Maybe have a sandwich. It was just heavenly.

With the exception of the rude wench sitting in the chair beside us, everything was just perfect. She didn’t get us down though! Don’t you love it how miserable people project their crap on you when you’re just minding your own business?? You know those people who think they are perfect and everything they do is perfect and NOT annoying to anyone and everything you do is wrong and annoying? Ugh. She was one of those. Everything she saw somebody do or heard them say she said something negative. Of course, she was holding her Bible open reading it while she was judging everyone else. It must be exhausting to be her. I mean it has to take a tremendous amount of energy to focus on the negative like that and then point it all out on top of that. Think about it. The world is an imperfect place with imperfect people… like to the nth degree. You could spend A LOT of time pointing out negatives.

Although this ol’ world is imperfect in nature, there are still many, many wonderful things to appreciate about it. Like the beautiful beaches, the wonder of the ocean, the breeze off the water, the warmth of the sun, the lullaby of the waves. And what about good friends to share it all with?? This doesn’t even begin to cover the list of blessings I could name. While it may seem paradise has been lost, it really hasn’t. You just have to be looking through the right shades!

  2. So true! It just sucks the life out of me to be around people who are so negative..people who are “victims”. Geez…you’re right…it must be tiring to be them! lol!!

  4. I wish I would have been there…I would have knocked that bitch out with my saline injected breast. And she would have liked it.
